CHAMP Project - SES as a new National Training Hub for Spain

Local and Regional authorities are in a relevant and good position to fight climate change by developing and implementing integrated climate change and sustainable development strategies within their scope of responsibility and through citizen involvement.

The CHAMP Project support local and regional authorities to respond to climate change systematically through Integrated Management System (IMS) and so transferring the vision into actions.

The National Training Hub of which SES is part for Spain after the signing ceremony in Bonn (Germany) last week, will provide support and assistance for implementing the IMS and changing experiences on local, national and EU level around Europe.

This training hub will facilitate mainstreaming the EU sustainability policies and initiatives on local and regional level.

Our role as one of the National Training Hubs include:
Represent the partnership on the national level.
Train cities as well as trainers to implement and mainstream IMS and EU sustainability policies.
Support our cities to improve local sustainability.
